🔒 Haven is private by design. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We will never sell your personal information or use it for advertising. You're going through something deeply personal — we take that trust seriously.

1. Who We Are

Haven is operated by Rosnco Productions LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use Haven ("the Service"). Contact us at privacy@havendivorce.app with any questions.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

Name and email address (at registration)
Your state of residence
Information about your divorce situation entered during onboarding
Messages and conversations with Haven AI
Documents you upload for analysis
Payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card details)

Information collected automatically:

Device type, browser, and operating system
IP address and approximate location
Pages visited and features used within Haven
Session duration and usage patterns

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and personalise Haven, power AI conversations, process payments, send service emails, improve features, and comply with legal obligations. We will never sell your personal data or use it for advertising.

4. AI Conversations

Your conversations with Haven AI are processed through Anthropic's Claude API. Messages are sent to Anthropic's servers to generate responses. Anthropic's privacy policy governs their handling of this data.

Haven stores your conversation history in our secure database so your AI companion can remember your situation across sessions. You can request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@havendivorce.app.

5. Sharing Your Information

We share your information only with: Anthropic (API for AI responses), Supabase (database infrastructure), Stripe (payment processing), Vercel (hosting infrastructure), and where required by law or court order. We do not share your personal information with professional directories without your explicit action.

5a. Uploaded Documents

When you upload a document for analysis, the following applies:

Not stored by Haven: Uploaded documents are processed entirely in-memory and are never written to Haven's database or servers.
Sent to Anthropic: Document content is transmitted to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the analysis. See anthropic.com/privacy for how Anthropic handles API inputs.
Not retained after analysis: Once the analysis is returned to you, the document data is discarded. Haven does not keep copies, backups, or logs of uploaded document content.
Not accessible to Haven staff: Because documents are never stored, Haven's administrators cannot access documents you have uploaded.

If you choose to save the generated analysis text to your case file, that saved text is stored in Supabase under the same security measures as your other case data.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, secure server infrastructure through Vercel, and access controls limiting who can view your data. No system is 100% secure — contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required for legal or accounting purposes.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, and export your personal data, and to unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Email privacy@havendivorce.app to exercise any of these rights.

9. Children's Privacy

Haven is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights under CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to delete it. We do not sell personal information. Contact us at privacy@havendivorce.app to exercise CCPA rights.

11. Cookies

Haven uses minimal cookies necessary for the Service to function (session management, authentication). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide and personalise the Haven experience
Power AI conversations with relevant context (your name, state, situation)
Process subscription payments
Send service-related emails (receipts, updates, security notices)
Improve Haven's features and AI responses
Comply with legal obligations

We will never sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

4. AI Conversations

Haven stores your conversation history in our secure database so that your AI companion can remember your situation across devices and sessions. This cross-device memory is a core feature of the service — Haven's ability to know your story and guide you effectively depends on it. Your messages are stored in association with your account and are protected by the security measures described in Section 6.

You can request deletion of your conversation history at any time by emailing privacy@havendivorce.app.

5. Sharing Your Information

We share your information only in these circumstances:

Anthropic: Your messages are processed via Anthropic's API to generate AI responses
Supabase: Our database infrastructure provider, which stores your account information, conversation history, and case data. Supabase processes this data on our behalf under their data processing agreement.
Stripe: Payment processing (they handle all card data under their own privacy policy)
Vercel: Our hosting infrastructure provider
Professional directories: Haven links to independent third-party professional directories. We do not share your personal information with any directory or professional without your explicit action.
Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of any person

6. Data Security

However, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes. Anonymised, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for product improvement.

8. Your Rights
